Update: Man dies and three others are injured in Barnesmore crash

first_img 75 positive cases of Covid confirmed in North Twitter Pinterest Pinterest Facebook News Google+ WhatsApp A man, believed to be in his 70s, has died and three other people have been injured in a road traffic collision on the Donegal Town to Ballybofey Road.The crash, involving a car and a campervan, occurred on the N15  at Keadue at 3.45pm this (Monday) afternoon.The driver of the car a man in his 70s was pronounced dead at Letterkenny General Hospital a short time later.A female in her 70s, a passenger in the car was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital with serious injuries.The male driver and female passenger of the campervan were also taken to Sligo General Hospital, their condition is not known.The roadway at the scene of the incident is closed with a short diversion in place –  a Garda investigation has begun.
