PEACE REIGNS AT COUNCIL AS FERRY FUNDING RELEASE FINALLY AGREED

first_imgDONEGAL County Councillors have had a ‘peace’ meeting today – to try to ensure meetings don’t end up being adjourned.TWO separate electoral areas will each give €25k towards the funding of the Lough Swilly and Lough Foyle ferries, councillors agreed today.Several councillors expressed annoyance today at March Donegal County Council meeting over the “annual media storm” over whether or not the ferry services would be available for the summer months.
